We know that many people would say that eating healthy can be expensive but this is not entirely so, especially if you have not been diagnosed with any kind of illness. Because when you have to treat an illness that can be a different story together than preventing it.

There are a lot of health conditions that many people do suffer from but in this article today we will be focusing on Anaemia which is the result of a shortage of blood. This is a condition where a person would be having a lack of blood in the body and it can be caused by many things.

Lack of iron, vitamin B12, and folic acid in the body can be the cause of anemia that occurs when a person’s blood doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells. This is problematic because red blood cells are responsible for carrying oxygen to the body’s tissues.

Well, you must be asking yourself how does one see that someone has a shortage of blood without having to consult a doctor? Well, it is very easy and we will give you some symptoms to look out for in this regard.

1. Fatigue is one of the symptoms you should look out for. The person is always tired even though they have not done anything. This is a red flag.

3. Pale or yellowish skin

This is one of the most traditional ways that is used to check the level of blood. Most people would check the palm of the hand and it should be redush in color if all is well. But if you see the hand is pale, start to get notes.

4. Cold hands and feet.

For someone who has cold feet and hands at the same time and this happens for a long time, then you have to start paying attention.

5. Irregular heartbeats.

Here we talk about people who will have slow heartbeats and the heart does not get the required amount of blood.

6. Chest pains.

If you get chest pains a lot of times, consides being proactive about it rather than just leaving it and thinking the pain will go away. Chances are it will not just disappear.

Green leaves can be the best place to start. We know that spinach is rich in iron and you might want to start adding it to your diet if you were not already.

However it should be noted that spinach can not be used entirely for this condition, it tends to be high in oxalates. Oxalates can bond with iron and this will prevent the absorption of noheme iron.

Not everything is as simple as it might be made to be out there. As much as you might want to treat the condition at home, you will at some point have to consult with the medical practitioner just to know how safe it is.

But here are some of the drinks you can get to boost your blood levels.

1. Halim drink

This drink has a lot of iron, follicle acid, and calcium. To prepare this drink you will need to have a tablespoon of Halim, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and half a cup of water. Mix them and leave them for a few hours and then it is ready to be served.

2. Beetroot juice

Here you need about 2 medium size beetroot, 1 cucumber, and just a small piece of ginger and lemon. Ensure that the lemon you take out all the white peels and also take out the seed and mix everything and it is ready to serve

3. Spinach and Mint juice

Take spinach, chop it, and put in about four cups, one cup of finely chopped mint, and a half cup of water, and blend the juice. Then you can add one teaspoon of lemon juice and one teaspoon of I’m in powder and mix well. Then it is ready to serve.

4. Prune juice

Take 5 dried prunes, add 1/4 cup water, and keep aside for 15-20 minutes. To a blender add soaked prunes, 1 cup water, 1 tsp. lemon juice and 2 tsp. sugar. Blend it until smooth. Pour in glasses, add ice cubes and serve.

5. Veggie blend juice

Here it is just a mixture of veggies and blended and you are good to go.
