Groundnut is known to contain some macro minerals which are needed in higher quantities, these minerals include Sodium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium calcium and zinc. Sodium is essential in the regulation of salt balance in the body because excess salt can cause hypertension and also lead to a heart attack.
