Sancho has three goals in 14 appearances in the Premier League and Europa League this season, and former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor believes he will be worried about following Alli’s path which could end up in the Championship.

“He [Sancho] just probably needs a reality check of what’s important to him,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider. “He’s 22, so it’s ‘Do I want to end up in the Championship at 25 or 26? Or, do I want to be playing in the Premier League and for England when I’m 25 or 26?’
