Manchester City came back to win after a 4-1 draw against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. In the match, Manchester City defeated Newcastle United to finish the game five points ahead of the Red Devils, who lifted the Carabao Cup trophy.
Arsenal takes on Everton in midweek at the Emirates Stadium, just days after earning a vital three-point win over Leicester City. Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 40th minute.
Martinelli doubled his lead minutes before the half-time signal. Martin Odegaard scored the third to give Arsenal a three-goal lead.
On the other hand, Liverpool also went to Molyneux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers. The first half ended in a goalless draw despite Liverpool trying to score.
