The first match of today’s round of fixtures was between Everton and Liverpool. The match was keenly contested by both sides but, neither of them was able to emerge victorious.
Both teams tried their best but the game ended in a stalemate as both sides were forced to share the points.
Tottenham 2-1 Fulham
Tottenham Hotspur were also in action today against Fulham. The match was keenly contested but it was Tottenham Hotspur who came out victorious.
The first goal of the game was scored by Hojbjerg in the 40th minute before Harry Kane doubled their advantage. Fulham pushed on but, by the time Mitrovic scored, it was too late to stage a comeback as the game ended up ending 2-1 at full-time.
Chelsea 2-1 West Ham United.
Chelsea were fortunate to leave Stamford Bridge with maximum points. A controversial late VAR call made sure that Chelsea ended the game with a scoreline of 2-1.
The match was keenly contested but, it was West Ham United who went ahead in the 62nd minute after Antonio broke the deadlock.
But, while West Ham were still celebrating, Chelsea levelled things up in the 76th minute through Chilwell. Twelve minutes later, Havertz gave his side the lead as Chelsea returned back to winning ways.
