Modern goalkeepers these days are saddled with so much responsibilities on the football pitch, that’s why they find it difficult to keep clean sheets because of divided attention.

On that note, I’ve decided to put up this article to highlight the current EPL Golden Glove table ahead of today’s fixtures.

1. Alisson Becker: Alisson who was in goal for Liverpool during their 2-1 defeat of Aston Villa yesterday, was unable to keep another clean sheet. As such, he is currently occupying first position with 20 clean sheets.

2. Ederson: ahead of Manchester City’s encounter with Wolves later today, goalkeeper Ederson is currently occupying second position with 20 clean sheets. The outcome of today’s game will decide whether Alisson Becker will retain his top spot or Ederson will displace him.

3. Hugo Lloris (13 clean sheets for Tottenham Hotspur this season)

4. Edouard Mendy: The fourth goalkeeper on the list is Edouard Mendy, he is occupying third position with 13 clean sheets. Hopefully, when Chelsea plays against Leeds United later today, Edouard Mendy will be able to add to his clean sheets tally.

5. Aaron Ramsdale: Aaron Ramsdale who joined Arsenal this season, is currently occupying fifth position on the list with 12 clean sheets. However, when Arsenal plays against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow, he will be able to add to his tally. See table below.
