Well, Antony didn’t get to start today’s match but he came on early in the second half to represent Brazil against Croatia. The Manchester United Star who was brought on in the second half had no meaningful impact on the game as he was more like a passenger for Brazil.
His dribbling attempts weren’t impressive in the game as he carried very little threat on the attack which wasn’t beneficial to Brazil against Croatia.
Well, I believe his awful performance shows recruiting him for the World Cup was a mistake. The 22-year-old couldn’t influence Brazil’s performance in the World Cup this year as he registered no goals and no assists in his two appearances for Brazil.
