The three of them were prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Zonal Command in Maiduguri on three counts charges of cheating to the sum of N34,593,000 and conspiracy.
While confirming judgment in a statement, Wilson Uwujaren who is the spokesman for EFCC said the judgement was delivered on Monday by Justice Aisha Kumaliya.
The statement partly read, “On count one for the offence of conspiracy, the court hereby sentences you, Aisha Alkali-Wakil, Tahiru Saidu Daura, and Prince Lawal Shoyode to five years imprisonment each without an option of fine.”
Aisha Aikali-Wakil and Tahiru Saidu Daura were to go to prison for seven years without an option to pay fine on both counts two and three if the charge.
