However, one Player was making his debut for Chelsea and he is none other than Portuguese star, Joao Felix. The attacker on loan from Atletico Madrid had an EPL debut to forget as he got red carded and was sent off after just 58 minutes into his first game for Chelsea.
Felix will never forget his debut as consequences for this red card means the Portuguese will miss the next 3 games for Chelsea thereby bringing into question Chelsea’s initial decision to sign him just on loan from Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea are already short on attackers due to injuries and Felix unnecessary red card just adds to the compounding problems currently facing the team. It is left to be seen if Felix will ever be a success during this is loan spell at Chelsea.
