Last season was abysmal from start to finish, with their former boss Antonio Conte even terming majority of the players to be irresponsible at a presser.

That resulted in his dismissal and his then assistant Cristien Stellini was appointed to take charge of the club.

Stellini was also dismissed after he couldn’t change the fortunes of the club for good.

Ryan Mason who is an in-house assistant manager of Spurs was handed the opportunity to take charge as Interim manager till the end of the season.

In spite of these appointments, Tottenham Hotspur continued in their horrendous stead and that saw them miss out entirely from Europe.

Anyway, they appear to have learnt their lessons and they want to start putting round pegs in round holes.

They have appointed Greek-Australian Ange Postecoglou as their new manager with the hope of taking the club back to a competitive level amongst the top 6 clubs in England.

Postecoglou led Celtic to a domestic treble last season and he did it in impressive fashion.

It remains to be seen if he would be able to translate his tactical acumen on the team and galvanize the North London side towards success.

Tottenham Hotspur kick off their season with an away fixture against Brentford on the 13th of August, 2023.

Ange Postecoglou would then prepare his boys for a big clash against Manchester United on the 19th of August.

Afterwards, Spurs travel to the Vitality Stadium to play Bournemouth on the 26th of August.

The first North London derby of the season would go forth on the 23rd of September 2023, while the second leg of the Premier League showdown would go down on the 27th of April.

Tottenham Hotspur then play against Chelsea at their 1 billion pound ground, with Mauricio Pochettino making his first managerial return to the ground on the 4th of November.

December ushers Postecoglou’s Spurs with a fixture against Brighton on the 26th of December.

April and May looks to be a grueling month in view for Tottenham Hotspur as they play Newcastle United on the 13th of April at the Saint James’ Park.

Defending Champions Manchester City then visit the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on the 20th of April, 2024.

Next up is a big clash with Arsenal in the North London derby 7 days later. On the 4th of May, a trip to Anfield comes calling as they play Liverpool at the start of the last month of the season.

Their final game of the season would be against Newcomers Sheffield United on the 19th of May, 2023.
