They added that she revealed the circumstances that led to his death during interrogation.
This news was reported on the Social Media by BBC News broadcasting platform. They reported the incident on their Facebook page on Wednesday, 11th of May 2022.
According to them, they stated that Chidinma has allegedly, revealed how she was involved in the Murder of Usifo.
According to her, she alleges that when she finished smoking with the deceased, he asked for more sex and she refused to grant that for him.
She added that She pushed him away and he mistakenly hit his head on a glass stool.
This report was made known by the Police who claimed to have interrogated her.
According to DSP Olusegun Bamidele from the State Criminal Investigation department, he stated that they have discovered where Chidinma and Usifo Spent their last time.
He revealed that both of them first went to Angel Villa hotel in Lekki before the murder occurred and CCTV captured them.
He added that during investigation, they traced Chidinma to her house and discovered the cloth she won that particular day, which was stained with blood.
The police also said they recovered Access Bank statements of the deceased, Uniport certificate with Chidinma’s name on it, her phone and other documents.
During interrogation with Chidinma, the police showed her the evidence and she accepted knowing Usifo.
When they urged Chidinma to confess, she said that she hanged out with Usifo at Victoria Island.
She added that she knew Usifo through her friend’s boyfriend. She added that their relationship started in February 2021 and after some times, they started having intercourse.
She added that it was on June 12th, 2021 that she received a call from the deceased telling her to meet with him.
When they met, because they were hungry, they both drove to a restaurant where they ate and they returned back to the apartment.
They kept having fun till the next day being 14th they also had same fun and they were together. It was on 15th that she denied him sex after series of smoking and taking hard drugs.
When she denied him sex, the deceased went away but later came back to demand for the sex again and Chidnma narrated that she pushed him away and his head landed on a glass stool.
The Police alleged that Chidinma stated she went to the Kitchen and brought a knife which she used to stab Usifo countless number of times.
