Chelsea’s line up next season is going to have some slight changes given that some players have left the club this summer and more could probably leave before the transfer window closes as well as there will be new signings coming into the team....CONTINUE READING THE FULL ARTICLE>>>
Chelsea have been linked with a number of players in the ongoing summer transfer window. In particular, Jules Koundé and Raheem Sterling. The former has been on Chelsea’s raider since last season, and rumours persist that the club hopes to sign him to fill the void left by Rüdiger and Andrea Christensen.
The latter, who is Raheem Sterling, has just recently emerged as a transfer target by Chelsea after reports claim that Manchester City are willing to listen to offers for the English winger this summer.
With everything else being equal, if Chelsea does sign Raheem Sterling and Jules Koundé this summer, this is how they could line up next season.
Goalkeeper: Mendy
Defenders: Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Koundé, James
Midfielders: Gallagher, Kante, Kovacic
Attackers: Sterling, Havertz, Mount
With this above-potential Chelsea XI, they would mount a serious EPL title challenge to Liverpool and Manchester City. And also, with the absence of many injuries, I strongly believe that we are capable of winning the EPL trophy with this team next season.
