Premier league clubs like Aston Villa, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur has signed three or more players this summer. Chelsea are looking forward to sealing one or two deals before the end of next month.
Chelsea’s Possible Lineup Next Season With Four Summer Transfer Targets.
Goalkeeper: Edoaurd Mendy.
Defenders: Ben Chilwell, Nathan Ake, Mathjis De Ligt and Reece James.
Midfielders: Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho and Mason Mount.
Forwards: Raheem Sterling, Kai Havertz and Raphinha.
Raphinha is currently on Chelsea radar and Leeds United have already accepted Chelsea bid for their talented midfielder. The Club are trying to agree personal terms with him and the medical will soon be scheduled. Chelsea are not backing down from signing Raheem Sterling from Manchester city this summer.
Their Striker Romelu Lukaku has completed his loan move to his former club and Thomas Tuchel needs players to bolster his attacking options next season. After Raheem Sterling helped Manchester city to win the Premier league and Raphinha helped Leeds united to escape relegation, both players are now wanted by Chelsea who lost two domestic cup finals last season.
However, Thomas Tuchel needs to strengthen his defense more than any position in the his squad. This is because Christensen and Rudiger will not be playing for the squad next season. Rudiger has already signed a contract deal with the La Liga defending champions, while Christensen has agreed verbally to play for Barcelona next season.
There are also rumors that Barcelona could g for Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta once their resolve their financial situation. However, Chelsea has spotted Nathan Ake and Mathjis De Ligt as possible replacement of both defenders.
