The Premier League on Thursday morning released their official fixtures for the coming season, and Chelsea football club will open their 2022/23 season on 6 August with an away clash against Frank Lampard’s Everton side who beat them at the Goodison Park to begin their relegation-survival run last season.

The Blues will follow it up by welcoming Antonio Conte’s Tottenham side to Stamford Bridge in what will be their first home game of the season.

However, Chelsea will enjoy what could be some easy run of fixtures after their opening two fixtures as they will conclude their August with games against Leeds United(Away), Leicester City(Home), and Southampton(Away). They will then begin their September with a home game against West Ham United, before traveling to Fulham and then concluding their September with a home clash against Liverpool.

However, the Blues will have some months with more difficult runs of fixtures and some with easier fixtures as well during the season. And we want to look at the the months with most difficult and easier fixtures for them.

Judging from their fixtures from August 2022 to May 2023, January appears to be the most difficult month for the Blues as they will be facing Manchester City(Home) and Liverpool(Away) who are currently the two best teams in the competition, and Crystal Palace(Home) who are likely to be very strong in their second season under Patrick Vieira.

But December which has always proved to be a very difficult month for them in the past couple of seasons seems to be the easiest month for the Blues this time around, as they will face the two newly promoted AFC Bournemouth(Home) and Nottingham Forest(Away).

The Blues will however conclude the season with a home game against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.
