Since Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have been confirmed to leave Chelsea , the club is getting desperate to add to its defensive options. This has made people want top players like De Ligt, and Romano says the deal is a real possibility.

He said, “De Ligt wants to leave Juventus. He wants to play in the Premier League, and Chelsea is very interested, but Chelsea will need to make a better offer to Juventus.”

The Dutch center-back is said to be Thomas Tuchel’s dream signing, according to Give Me Sport journalist Dean Jones. Tuchel is said to be a big fan of the international player from the Netherlands.

Reports say that the club is looking to add players from their current team to the deal in order to lower the price. Christian Pulisic is also said to be on the table as part of a deal.
