CAF released the list of the 10 nominees for the 2022 Africa player of the year award, and many outstanding African players in Europe have shortlisted for the prestigious award.
The 30-man list for Africa player of the year award was released by CAF two weeks ago, and Nigerian Moses Simon was among the list, but he’s now unable to make it to the final 10.
Here are the 10 nominees for 2022 CAF player of the year award;
Edouard Mendy of Chelsea football club of England and Senegal national team
Sadio Mane of Bayern Munich football club and Senegal national team.
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool football club of England and Egypt national team
Riyad Mahrez of Manchester City football club of England and Algeria national team
Vincent Aboubakar of Al Nassr football club and Cameroon national team.
Karl Toko Ekambi of Olympique Lyon football club of France and Cameroon national team
Sebastien Haller of Borussia Dortmund football club of Germany and Ivory Coast national team
