According to The Times, Chelsea want to get rid of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are trying to get the striker to move to Saudi Arabia.
The report has claimed that “Aubameyang had resisted a move to Saudi Arabia but Chelsea remain in talks over a sale to the kingdom’s Pro League”.
The Times have added that Chelsea have decided to extend the return date of the £170,000-a-week [SalarySport] Gabon international striker to Monday.
What now for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Chelsea?
In our opinion, if Chelsea want to get rid of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, then they will find a way to do so.
Now, of course, Aubameyang will have a big say on his future, but in such cases, the club always wins.
The striker struggled at Chelsea last season, and it is hard to see him get back to the player he was at Arsenal.
The Gabon international striker is 34 now.
Aubameyang is under contract at Chelsea until the summer of 2024.
Maybe if the striker refuses to move to a club in Saudi Arabia, then Chelsea could just pay him off and mutually terminate the contract….READFULL
