They recently bought an overpriced winger named Mykhaylo Mudryk for the sum of $108m from Shakhtar Donetsk, and from all the signings they have made so far none of them have actually made a good impression.

It’s fair to say that Chelsea not being title favourites after the amount they spent on signings this summer is a huge disappoinment, and they should be ridiculed if they eventually fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Let’s not forget that the Blues have spent more money on signings this season alone than Arsenal have spent in a couple of years, and the fact that the Gunners are ahead of them in the title race is a huge slap on the face of their reputation as a top football club.
