The London outfit have arguably been the busiest in recent months in terms of major changes, with a number of exits including former owner Roman Abramovic.

On the player side, this summer has also seen Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Saul Niguez leave the club.

Although there have been no official arrivals in terms of new signings, several players are likely to join Chelsea this summer.

Notably, Raheem Sterling is anything but a Chelsea player as of Friday July 8, with Manchester City keen to sell the winger who has one year left on his contract.

The acquisition of Sterling will definitely be a huge boost for Tuchel’s team as he is only 27 years old and certainly has goals and assists in him.

As far as the rumors go, Chelsea are in pole position to sign Matthijs de Ligt, despite the Dutch defender still having two years left on his contract, which also contains a £103m release clause.

More sensationally, Cristiano Ronaldo has also been linked with a move to Chelsea, as the Man United icon is unstable at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo is set to miss the first leg of Manchester United’s pre-season tour as he cited ‘family reasons’ for his absence.

With the 37-year-old’s future uncertain and Chelsea needing a natural goalscorer following Lukaku’s exit, it’s not hard to see Ronaldo in the famous blue shirt.
