Sterling will be an upgrade to Thomas Tuchel’s side which does not have good wingers for a while. The 27-year-old forward can play in most of the offensive positions and this will offer the German boss a great squad depth.

He has been widely used by Pep Guardiola on the right and left-wing where he has been spectacular in scoring goals from these two positions. The Blues have not been busy in the transfer window but Thomas Tuchel is likely to sign a top winger this summer.

After missing out on signing Leeds United and Brazilian international Raphinha the Blues are interested in Bayern Munich forward Serge Gnabry. The 26-year-old star has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga champions and Chelsea is reportedly in the race to sign him.

According to goal, Thomas Tuchel will be looking to add another top goal scorer to his club this summer which might see him ending up securing the move for the forward.

The two-times Champions League winners likely to offload Morrocan winger Hakim Ziyech to AC Milan after failing to perform in the last two seasons at the club, this will more space to accommodate the Bayern Munich star.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly recently met with Bayern Munich director in London to discuss the possible move for Polish striker Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry.

However, Lewandowski is unlikely to join Chelsea as he is interested in joining Barcelona which could see Gnabry be the only star they can secure from Allianz Arena.
