The Blues recently showed interest in a 26-year-old defender in their quest to find a replacement for Antonio Rudiger who joined Real Madrid lately.
However, Chelsea FC have been handed a boost in their pursuit to sign the defender, as a report claims that his football club are willing to cash in on him this summer.
A transfer expert called Fabrizio Romano tweeted: “Paris Saint-Germain are open to letting the 26-year-old French defender leave this summer. He’s not out of the project, but his future depends on the proposals – that’s why new contract talks are stalling”
Therefore, it is left for Chelsea FC to trigger his price tag if they are ready to sign him.
26-year-old Presnel Kimpembe plays mainly as a center-back defender and could be deployed as a left-back defender.
