This is because huge sums of money was spent on signing attackers, midfielders as well as defenders. Chelsea’s latest signing, Enzo Fernandez who was signed for €120m set a new record as the highest signed player in British history.
Enzo Fernandez is yet to play for Chelsea, however, a lot is expected from him. Chelsea’s new signing has already been unveiled in the club, hence, he might feature in Chelsea’s next match against Fulham. With the signing of Enzo Fernandez, a lot of fans believe that Jorginho’s absence in the team wouldn’t be felt.
Graham Potter spoke about Enzo Fernandez, and expressed his joy about the new signing. He said: “I’m very, very pleased about Enzo Fernandez deal because he is a fantastic player. My Spanish isn’t great and his English isn’t great, so we’ll get there. He’s an impressive young man”.
From Graham Potter’s statement, it is obvious that he and Enzo Fernandez are yet to communicate freely, however, the talented midfielder should still able to train in the squad despite the language barriers.
