The four-legged robot official name is Mountainous Bionic Quadruped Robot, but people called it “Da Gou,” which is simply Mandarin for Big Dog. It is developed by NORINCO and is similar to the U.S.’s LS3 robot.
The speed size and slope climbing capability of Da Gou is similar to that of Big Dog (110 kg, 6.4 km/h and 35 degrees). Da Gou weighs 130kg and can carry a payload of 30kg. Both the Big Dog and LS3 carries 150 – 300 kg of cargo.
The Chinese Big Dog speed up to miles per hour which is approximately 10 kmph and is capable of climbing hills with a slope of up to 30 degrees.
