On July 19th, Xavi’s team will travel to Miami, where they will face Inter at the DRV PNK Stadium in South Florida.
Barcelona will then travel to the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on July 30th for a second friendly as part of their preparations for the 2022-23 season.
Because of Covid-19, the Catalans haven’t had a complete pre-season trip in a long time, and Ernesto Valverde last visited the United States in 2019.
Chris Henderson, the sports director of Inter Miami, is looking forward to watching his team face Barcelona. “We look forward to welcome FC Barcelona throughout their training for the LaLiga season 2022-2023,” he remarked. The team is looking forward to competing against some of the world’s most gifted players.”
Juli Guiu, the marketing vice president of Barcelona, also spoke about the upcoming matches.
There may be more fixtures in the United States in the future. According to reports, Barcelona is in talks with Real Madrid and Juventus to arrange friendlies while the clubs are in the United States.
