Chelsea lost their opening fixture against Dinamo Zagreb and have a very difficult fixture against Salzburg. The Austrian side drew against AC Milan in their opening Fixture and this should give Chelsea’s manager a major concern. Chelsea can’t afford to drop further points as they might not be able to qualify for the knockout stage.
However, Chelsea has two wins and three losses in their last five fixtures across all competitions, while Salzburg has four wins and a draw.
The last time both clubs met was in a friendly game and Chelsea beat them 5-3. However, the Austrian side has grown stronger and Chelsea will need to dig deep in other to secure all three points at Stamford bridge.
