Both Chelsea and Crystal Palace didn’t manage score in the first half after several good chances created. Kai Havertz brilliant header gave Chelsea the lead in the second half with a fine cross from Hakim Ziyech.
The Blues have been struggling in their recent matches and their performances were very poor. The Blues and their supporters will be extremely happy with the well fought three points, maybe they can build from this win and get better results in their upcoming games.
Thiago Silva’s performance was absolutely amazing as he single handedly guided Chelsea to get all three points at Stamford Bridge. His defending was clinical and he won several tackles and made good clearances.
He should be the man of the match today, with his brilliant performance in the game.
