However, despite the star studded starting 11, most of the best players performed badly in the first half and that limited their goal scoring chances in the first half of the match. Below are the players that should be blamed.

1. Mudryk showed little glimpses of what the future might present but he was wasteful and by the virtue of that, he squandered many goal scoring chances.

Also, he missed many passes and when he should have shot the ball at the goal post which also culminated to him missing big opportunities to score. If he had converted all his goal scoring chances, he should have had a hat trick to his name before the end of the first half.

2. Secondly, Enzo Fernandez did not live up to expectations in the first half even though he showed little glimpses of what he is capable of but he was not up to the tsk defensively, and that made Fulham win the midfield battle easily. He should have been more involved in the game.

3. Mason Mount should take the chief blame as he was invariably involved and looked clueless. He failed to pass the ball when he ought to and shot the ball when he ought to have passed it. He was the weakest link in the middle of the field and that affected the whole team.
