Since the prostate is a delicate organ, it can be affected and one of the diseases that affect it is Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH). It occurs when the cells of the prostate gland begin to multiply. When this begins to occur, the flow of urine will be limited.

BPH causes

Research has shown that this disease normally accompanies ageing. Although the actual cause is unknown, alterations in male intercourse hormones that come with ageing may be a factor.

Studies have also shown that any family history of prostate problems or any irregularities with the site in which the male reproductive cell is produced may raise your risk for BPH. Men who also have this site removed at an early age have a high risk of this.

Some of the ways BPH can be treated include;

Peeing as soon as you feel the urge

to go to the bathroom to urinate. Always empty your bladder.

Resisting over-the-counter decongestants or antihistamine medications, which can make it harder for the bladder to empty
