He congratulate Tinubu who was literally elected by the people and he believes he’s the best person for the job. President Muhammadu Buhari also said that he will work with Tinubu in order to ensure orderly handover of power.
He went further to say that election has been conducted and the election demonstrates democracy, and he believes Tinubu has the capability to deliver.
President Muhammadu Buhari also said that competition is good and people’s votes were counted, despite there were technical problems with electronic transmission of the results.
President Muhammadu Buhari also made a statement saying “If any candidate believes they can prove the fraud they claim is committed against them, then bring forward the evidence”. He also said that if they don’t have any evidence, it literally means that the election was indeed people’s will.
