Saraki, who contested in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary election in May 2022, has maintained silence since he lost the poll to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The former Senate President was named as the Northern consensus candidate along with the governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, ahead of the primary election.
The former governor of Kwara State hasn’t said anything about the drama and crisis in the opposition party.
The opposition party has been polarised following the emergence of Atiku as the presidential candidate and Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
In reaction to the development, Shehu Sani, who also served in the 8th assembly with Saraki, raised concern on his verified Twitter handle on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
He said, “Your Excellency @bukolasaraki; Point of Order; You de too quiet. Should I move the motion to scatter the table?”
