According to recent reports, Chelsea and Leeds United have reached a full agreement over the signing of Raphinha. Chelsea’s £60m bid for Raphinha has been accepted by Leeds United according to Fabrizio Romano.
The deal has been agreed upon by both Chelsea and Leeds United and the blues will proceed with agreeing to personal terms with the player.
The potential signing of Raphinha will be a massive boost for Thomas Tuchel who is reportedly a big fan of the Brazilian winger.
Raphinha was arguably one of the best wingers in the Portuguese League last season, scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists in 36 appearances for Leeds United last season.
Squad Number For Raphinha:
Without A doubt, Raphinha had a massive impact in keeping Leeds United alive in the Premier League last season. His goals and back-to-back solid performances helped Leeds United to avoid relegation last campaign.
With his outstanding performance last season, he will definitely be a first-team starter for Chelsea next season if he joins the Blues.
The first thing a new signing will be given in his new team after completion of medicals and contract signing is a squad number. According to reports Raphinha’s deal to Chelsea is almost complete and will be announced soonest.
At Chelsea, there are a lot of vacant squad numbers for Raphinha but unfortunately, most of the befitting ones are currently being occupied.
The perfect shirt number for a winger or attacking midfielder is the number 7, 11 and 10 and unfortunately, these numbers are currently being worn by N’Golo Kante, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic respectively.
Also, Raphinha could fancy the number 8 jersey but this number is owned by Mateo Kovacic which means he must seek other numbers.
Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech wear other befitting numbers but the number 17 and 18 are currently vacant.
