The best attacking midfielders are like gold dust in today’s sport....CONTINUE READING THE FULL ARTICLE>>>

While many European systems are beginning to do away with the requirement for a traditional attacking ten, creative midfielders are still necessary to pull the strings, provide free kicks, and sometimes score a goal from long range.

9. Dominik Szoboszlai

Dominik Szoboszlai, a Hungarian star, has some of the greatest ball-striking in the world, and his ability to pull off the extraordinary could easily see him emerge as a compilation merchant.

The Hungarian sensation, on the other hand, is much, much greater.

He’s an exquisite playmaker who enjoys the fight. His vision and skill set him apart as a playmaker, and he’s racked up remarkable assist totals throughout his senior career so far.

Szoboszlai has a lot more to offer, but he’s already one of the world’s most brilliant offensive midfielders.

8. Marco Reus

Injured Marco. His lack of ‘major’ occasions on the grandest stages has weakened his fame. Injuries have come at the worst of times for the Germans.

Reus mesmerises when he wears Dortmund’s #11 jersey.

Reus is BVB’s creative centre, while superstars come and go at Signal Iduna Park. When you watch him play, you can’t help but fall in love with his beautiful subtlety.

7. Dybala

Paulo Dybala’s injuries have hampered him in the last 18 months, but he’s a delight to watch when well.

The classic La Joya plays at his own speed. He loves to drift infield from the right with his left foot. Dybala is more of a striker than a creator, and despite several injuries, he still produces.

6. Odegaard

Martin Odegaard has evolved into a character. He’s already Norway’s captain and will lead Arsenal in 2022/23.

His timidity in front of the goal frustrates fans, but he’s a world-class playmaker. Odegaard has a good left foot and a great ‘feel’ for the game. He can execute practically every pass

The Norwegian talent is a major part of Mikel Arteta’s intriguing Arsenal agenda and might become a Gunner’s classic.

5. Bruno Fernandes

The pressure that comes with being a high-priced Manchester United signing is unparalleled, and other players before Bruno Fernandes succumbed to the burden.

However, the Portuguese creator ignited the globe during his first 18 months with the club. After joining in January 2020, Fernandes contributed 15 Premier League goals in 14 appearances throughout the second part of the season before scoring 18 league goals the following season.

Fernandes has endured some of United’s most discouraging situations over the previous several years, but his production since joining the team has been extraordinary.

4. Christopher Nkunku

Julian Nagelsmann helped Christopher Nkunku at RB Leipzig, and the Frenchman erupted after his departure last summer.

His form got him into France’s team in March 2022, and he might have a big World Cup.

3. Jamal Musiala

England and Germany competed for this teenager’s international representation.

Jamal Musiala played for England’s junior teams, although he was born in Germany and will play for Hansi Flick’s side in Qatar.

The youngster has already established himself as a star with Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern, but he hasn’t garnered the accolades of some of his bright young colleagues.

Musiala can play several positions, but he shines in offensive midfield because of his box instincts. His final-third movement is Thomas Muller-like.

2. Jamal Musiala

Bernardo Silva is the world’s finest offensive or centre midfielder, according to many.

Silva is all-around. He can score by cutting in from the right, combining in tight areas, avoiding pressure calmly, and harassing opponents. Silva may be the complete player, and pound-for-pound, he’s one of the world’s finest while playing for City.

1. Bernardo Silva

Many players might be considered the finest offensive midfielder in the world. We chose Phil Foden instead.

Pep Guardiola has praised Foden’s “unique talent” in the past and has aided his ascent at the Etihad.

The two-time PFA Young Player of the Year is tough and tenacious without the ball, and Pep has utilised him in a variety of roles. Foden’s versatility is rare.
