Barca President Joan Laporta and his camp succeeded in strengthening their squad depth this summer with the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, and Andreas Christensen among others making a move to Spotify Camp.
According to reports coming from AS, Barcelona forward Raphinha has struggled to adapt to life at Camp Nou following his big-money move from Leeds United and has spoken to the club’s head coach Xavi about his problems.
“Yes, I told Xavi. I think he got it. I want to help the team as much as possible. I told him that I wasn’t helping the team on the left,” he said, as reported by AS.
“I don’t mind competing with Ousmane on the right. I like that competition, but I would like to compete in my place, where I feel more comfortable at the moment,” Raphinha added.
