Laporta was speaking in an interview where he was asked about the future of the French player. According to him, Barcelona has offered a contract to the winger but they are yet to get a response from him.

Dembele’s contract has expired with Barcelona and he is yet to make a decision as it concerns his future at the club. He also spoke about reports linking Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich to the La Liga club.

Barcelona are currently in a financial crisis but they have been linked to a lot of players this summer window, the players include, Chelsea’s duo of Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
