The late music act passed on in 2010. A music festival known as Barryfest is set to take place in honor of the life and times of the talented musician. The event will take place in Lagos and Ibadan from February 11-13, 2022.
According to a statement jointly signed by the chairman of the committee of Barryfest, Mr Laide Olawumi and the Secretary, Mr Ademola Adesingbini, an array of event has been put together to celebrate the pioneer of Fuji music.
The event will include the unveiling of Fuji music hall at Fuji Chamber in Isolo, Lagos state, a visit to a charity and a courtesy visit to the Olubadan elect, Lekan Balogun.
The events would be wrapped up in the evening with the presence of dignitaries from all across the world in attendance.
