Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has begun to make moves in the transfer market to strengthen his squad after the Gunners missed out on Champions League football again last season.
The Spaniard’s main priority is finding a new No.9, with Manchester City man Gabriel Jesus appearing to be the Gunners top target this summer. Reports have claimed that Arsenal have ‘agreed terms’ with the Brazilian striker, but they will have to wait and see if their interest can indeed come to fruition.
Meanwhile, William Saliba has confirmed that he will to return to the Emirates this summer to fight for a first-team spot after impressing with Marseille and France. Eddie Nketiah is also set to extend his contract in north London, somewhat alleviating the headache Arteta has been facing.
