Three deals have already been completed, and Gabriel Jesus has agreed to join the club after a £45million fee was agreed with Manchester City.
The Gunners have signed Marquinhos, Matt Turner and Fabio Vieira since the window opened on June 10, and are looking to add Raphinha to their ranks after testing the waters with an opening bid.
They are expected to improve their offer in the coming days, with the Brazilian currently with agent Deco in Spain.
Arsenal fans were barely done celebrating the news of Vieira’s £34million move from Porto before Jesus’ deal was agreed, and the Gunners could be in a really strong position come the start of the season.
Elsewhere, reports have emerged that Arteta could beat Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira to the £17.2million signing of Cheick Doucoure.
