And if reports are anything to go by, then Arsenal football club have been linked with a transfer move for highly-rated Feyenoord centre-forward Santiago Gimenez when the transfer window opens.
The 22-year-old Mexico International, who signed up for Feyenoord after departing Cruz Azul back in 2022 has been an important member of the first-team squad since he made the move.
The young centre-forward was hugely influential for Feyenoord during the 2022/2023 season where he scored 28 goals and created three assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.
Santiago Gimenez has also started the ongoing season on a brilliant note, scoring 15 goals and creating three assists in 11 appearances in all competitions.
His excellent performances in front of goal is believed to have caught the attention of a number of clubs and according to reports from Transfer News Live, Arsenal are also keen on signing him.
The reports further claimed that Feyenoord are very much aware that Santiago Gimenez is attracting interests from Arsenal and have now told the Gunners to pay £100million in order to sign him.
It is believed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to add more firepower to his goalscoring options next year and he has identified the young Santiago Gimenez as a needed addition to his team.
