Gabriel Jesus, a star forward for Arsenal, will be out for several months with a knee injury. They won’t just miss his goals, but also what he does for the frontline as a whole.

The Brazilian has changed the way the top team in the Premier League attacks. Arteta has said that he can’t be replaced because it’s “impossible.”

Eddie Nketiah will try hard, but he is not the same kind of striker as Jesus. Another option is Martinelli, who played in the middle for a short time under Unai Emery before he was fired.

In an interview with the Arsenal website, Arteta said that Martinelli could play up front, but he emphasized how important Jesus was. He said, “Of course, it’s a huge blow for us.”

But in a separate interview with Jamie Carragher of Sky Sports, Arteta talked about the problems with Martinelli playing in the middle. He said that the 21-year-old is not good enough to be a striker and that if he were, he would score less goals.

Arteta said the transfer window is another option for the club. He knows how important it is to put Martinelli on the left side of the field, where he is best.

So far this season, he has been one of the best players for the Gunners. Arteta’s words make it clear that he thinks the club needs to get better players next month.

Arteta wants a winger to add depth to his team behind players like Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. But Arteta doesn’t want to wonder if they don’t win the title because they didn’t sign a striker in the winter.
