The Gunners will be going into the encounter off the back of their dramatic 5-1 victory over Ipswich Town last weekend in their first pre-season warm-up game of the campaign. Mikel Arteta’s men will however be going into today’s game in search of another victory over Nuremberg to continue with their impressive start to their pre-season preparation.

Arsenal could be going into today’s game against the German second division side without the services of their Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Partey, who according to reports failed to travel to Germany with the rest of the team.

Fabio Vieira is another player who has been ruled out of today’s game, as he is yet to fully recover from a foot injury that kept him from resuming training with his new team.
