The Gunners couldn’t hold on tightly to their one-goal lead in the game as Brentford held them to a disappointing 1-1 courtesy of strikes from Ivan Toney and Leandro Trossard.
Well, Edward Nketiah remained unchanged in Arsenal’s starting lineup today as he had an awful performance against Brentford.
The English International wasn’t given much room by the Brentford’s defenders in the game as he seemed to have been caged by the opponent’s solid defense line for the Gunners.
The 23-year-old was very dull and passive offensively, barely being involved or contributing to Arsenal’s plays on the attack.
Well, I believe his awful display explains why Leandro Trossard should be deployed as Arsenal’s New Striker before the return of Gabriel Jesus.
Leandro Trossard got himself in a good position today to get a crucial goal for the Gunners against the Bees. He is quite versatile and can also play as a centre Forward for Arsenal if deployed in that position.
With Edward Nketiah’s recent drop in form I believe Leandro Trossard should handle Arsenal’s striking position from now on.
The Belgium International has great finishing ability and can also create goalscoring opportunities for his teammates in matches. The 28-year-old could make Arsenal’s attack even deadlier which is what the team needs at the moment
