1. K. Hein.
The Arsenal goalkeeper put in a disappointing display against Brighton and Hove Albions today, conceding 3 goals. Most of the goals weren’t his fault though but he could’ve done better with his positioning.
2. M. Elneny.
In the absence Partey, the Egyptian midfielder did not do enough to shut out Brighton players in midfield today. His passing was not the very best and his decision making was very poor.
3. C. Soares.
Another Arsenal player whose performance is nothing to write home about. He is not doing himself any favours with performances like this against a weak Brighton team.
Best Players.
1. B. Gilmour.
The former Chelsea youngster completely ran Arsenal midfielders out of the game today. His one touch passing and link up play was top notch and he just couldn’t be stopped.
2. L. Cowill.
Another Chelsea graduate who started for Brighton in today’s game. Cowill was confident on the ball and bold with his decision making. He didn’t look fazed under the Arsenal press and stood out with his tackles and interceptions.
3. T. Lamptey.
Well if you thought the two players listed above are the only players once affiliated with Chelsea who started against Arsenal today, you are in for a suprise.
Tariq Lamptey is another Chelsea graduate who started for Brighton today and scored a wonderful goal from right back. It seems these former Chelsea youngsters took revenge on Arsenal for beating their former team last Sunday.
