One night at 1 AM, while my husband and I were watching TV, there was a loud knock on our door. A voice demanded we open it, threatening to break it down if we didn’t. Despite our efforts to get them to leave, they continued knocking. My husband stood firm and refused to let them in, even though our marriage was still new, only seven months old.....CLICK HERE TO READ THE FULL ARTICLE>>>

At the end of the day, we heard something like a cutlass cutting through the door. My husband said if they cut the door and entered, they might just eliminate him, and it would be better to let them in since they had come themselves. This infuriated the robbers. We had made lots of calls for help, but for some reason, they were confident that no help would come. My husband opened the door, and they immediately slapped and hit him on the head.

There were about seven of them, and they ordered us to lay down. My husband started bleeding as they continued to ask, “Where is the money?” over and over again. Despite my husband being a bank manager, he told them we didn’t keep money in the house. They kept beating him but eventually forced him to transfer a lot of money from his various bank accounts to theirs.

We thought it was over and that they were going to leave, but then they told me to stand up and undress. I refused, so they knocked and kicked me to the floor, beating me severely. After they left, my husband went out to get help from our estate neighbors, who assisted in taking me to the hospital.

I survived but lost my legs. It has been a year since the incident. My husband came to the hospital to help and support me during my recovery. I now have artificial legs and have regained some normalcy in my life. However, to my greatest shock, my husband recently told my family that he wants a divorce. He said he couldn’t manage being with me without my legs and blamed me for encouraging the robbers by refusing their demands.

I thought I was being a good wife by standing up to them. My husband misunderstood me and has now decided to leave me in this condition. What am I going to do? Where will I run to? What will I do? I don’t know what to do.

Please, ask your audience: Did I do something wrong by making such a decision? I thought my husband would be proud of me. Thankfully, my parents have said they will come and pick me up and will not reject me. They are proud of me...CONTINUE READING>>
