In a post made on the official Facebook page of FIFA, the first top Assister so far is Antoine Griezmann who plays for the french national team. He has a record of three assists so far.
The second and third players who, like Antoine Griezmann, have three assists are Bruno Fernandes and England’s Harry Kane.
Unfortunately, the Portuguese star player and Harry Kane are already out of the ongoing race for the world cup.
The fourth and fifth top Assisters so far are Mislav Orsic of the national team of Croatia and Davy Klaassen of Netherlands. These two players have a record of two assists each.
If Croatia’s Mislav Orsic nets two more goals without a response from France’s Antoine Griezmann in their next match, he will win any prize attached to being the top Assister in the 2022 world cup.
