The 18 years old is yet to play a game for his new club due to issues with getting work permit but used the opportunity to showcase his talent at the under 20 Sudamericano tournament, he was arguably the best player on show at the just concluded showpiece.

While his style of play is not exactly like a certain Chelsea midfield maestro Ngolo Kante, he showed many attributes in the tournament that suggest he could be his heir with time.

Strong in possession, energetic and hard tackling off the ball and his ability to join attack from the base of the midfield is reminiscent of Ngolo Kante.

The youngster is clearly a fascinating talent and his ability to score from midfielder makes him an excellent fit for Chelsea and lucky enough for him, he will be able to learn from Ngolo Kante before finally taking his place in the Chelsea first team.
