Hazard has struggled with injuries since joining Real Madrid which has had an effect on performance and has been linked with a move back to Chelsea in the summer.
With the constant talks on Hazard’s future, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has cleared the air concerning the Belgian’s forward future ahead of Los Blancos’ clash with Cadiz.
Reports have it that Hazard wanted to stay so as to prove his quality at Real Madrid and it was confirmed by Ancelotti.
“We haven’t talked about [his future]. His plan is quite clear: he stays and he will do it with a lot of motivation because he has not had a good time in recent years and he wants to show his quality,” Ancelotti said.
“He is staying to show his quality.”
