It is worth noting that Benhamouda scored the second goal for Algeria in its 3-0 victory over the Democratic Republic of the Congo yesterday evening, Thursday, after the second round of the friendly four-way tournament hosted by Algeria in preparation for the African Nations Cup for local players. The striker was 24 years old when he died.

Billel Benhamouda was born on 28 August 1997, He is an Algerian professional player who played for USM Alger in Algeria’s Ligue Professionnelle as an attacking midfielder.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder started his club career in USMM Hadjout youth club in 2008-2015 before moving to USMM Hadjout senior where he played from 2015–to 2016.

He played USM Alger youth team from 2016-to 2017 then he went to USM Alger senior and played from 2018 till he died in 2022.

Billel Behamouda played 120 matches in his career and scored 13 career goals in his career.
