Al-Nassr started the game well as Ronaldo led the attack. The home side tried by creating different chances to no avail. Al-Batin defended well in numbers which made it difficult for Al-Nassr to score.
The visitors got the lead when Renzo Lopez scored the opener from Andre Bukia’s assist. All the efforts of Al-Nassr to get back into the game in the first half went down the drain.
Ronaldo missed a glorious opportunity to equalise when he dribbled the goalkeeper and almost scored the equalizer as Al-Batin’s defender did a great job to save his team from conceding the goal.
Nevertheless, Abdulrahman Ghareeb draws the game level for Al-Nassr from Luiz Gustavo’s assist. Mohammed Al-Fatil scored for Al-Nassr to give them the lead with a beautiful finish from Abdullah Madu’s assist. Mohammed Maran sealed the 3-1 win with a sumptuous strike.
However, fans have reacted to Ronaldo’s performance despite being on the winning side. The 38-year-old performance was not too good as he was unlucky today.
He missed a glorious opportunity in the first half and failed to take his chances in the second half. He had a total of five shots with only one on target. He also completed 4 dribbles out of five attempts.
