He noted how the present governor, Aiyedatiwa provided Akeredolu with a bulletproof car in 2012 to drive to Ondo state after he was picked as the candidate of the ACN.
He emphasized that the former deputy’s lack of understanding of Akeredolu led to visible challenges. However, he highlighted the positive synergy and relationship existing between Aiyedatiwa and Akeredolu. According to him, there has never been a bad blood between the late governor and Mr. Aiyedatiwa as being postulated.
He said in an interview with Arise Tv, ”The first deputy that Akeredoku had in 2016 when he became the governor of Ondo state was an outsider within the party.
There has never been a progressive member of our party and the fact that he didn’t understand Akeredolu, we could see what transpired. But Aiyedatiwa is contrary to what that man is. Aiyedatiwa gave Akeredolu his bulletproof car when he was pronounced as the candidate in 2012.
For him to drive back to Ondo state. That is the kind of synergy and relationship that existed between Aiyedatiwa and Akeredolu. And when Akeredolu got to Ondo State, Senator Alasoadura was appointed as the director general of the campaign. I was appointed as the director of media for the campaign.
