Morocco grabbed their second win in the AFCON by comfortably defeating Comoros 2-0 courtesy of goals from Selim Amallah and Zakaria Aboukhal. Malawi on the other hand claimed a narrow 2-1 win against Zimbabwe at the Stade Kouekong thanks to goals from Gabadinho Mhango (2), while Gabon came from behind to hold Ghana to an uneventful 1-1 draw at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo. Jordan Ayew and Jim Allevinah got on the scoresheet to secure a point each for their respective countries.
